The SPT Glow Strip kit consists of either one or two 1" x 18" Electroluminescent lamps that are only 1/16" in thickness and produce a very nice greenish-blue light that is easy on the eyes.
The lamps are very flexible and will conform to the underside of your glare shield or they can also be used in other areas, such as baggage compartments or above recessed switch panels.
The Glow Strips can be cut down to a minimum of 14" or they can be cut lengthwise down the middle giving you two 1/2" x 18" lamps out of one lamp. This is often done to light up a row of switches that recessed along the bottom of a panel. Supplied with the appropriate 14 or 28V inverter. This is a very cost-effective way to provide additional cockpit lighting. |
